Mahonia nitens Cabaret - Orange Mahonia

This delightful introduction has only recently become available, and we believe our plants are some of the best currently available here in the UK, all being nice chunky plants and of flowering size.

Mahonia Cabaret has the same glossy holly-like evergreen foliage that you would expect to see on other Mahonia varieties in a nice shade of dark green, but this compact variety produces its flowers from the end of summer and all the way through Autumn.

These brightly coloured blooms appear initially as elegant racemes smothered with vividly coloured orange-red buds that open from the base of the spike to reveal cheerful yellow flowers. Once the flowers have faded bluish-grey berries form which contrast beautifully with the winter foliage. This really is an amazing new colour introduction to the Mahonia range. Supplied in approx. 2-3 litre containers, full or buds and flowers in season.
