Cucumber 'Spacemaster'

Compact cucumbers like 'Spacemaster' are ideal for patios, tiny gardens, and container gardening. It yields an impressive amount of crisp, dark green cucumbers, perfect for salads, pickling, and fresh eating, despite its small size. This bush-type plant is very productive and ideal for small-space gardeners.

Plant in rich, well-drained soil that receives full sun. Water the soil frequently to maintain an even moisture level, and mulch to keep moisture in the soil and keep weeds out. As 'Spacemaster' is a bush variety, it doesn't need much support, but if you'd like, you can use a small trellis. Use a balanced fertiliser and apply it on a regular basis. When cucumbers are between 15 and 20 cm long, harvest them. Pick often to promote continuous production.
