Cucumber 'Crystal Apple'

The 'Crystal Apple' cucumber variety is a distinctive and endearing heritage cultivar distinguished by its small, spherical, apple-like fruits with a light green to pale white, nearly translucent skin. These cucumbers are ideal for pickling, salads, and snacking because of their crisp texture and mild, sweet flavour. 'Crystal Apple' is a vigorous and prolific variety that yields a bumper crop all summer long.

Plant in rich, well-drained soil that receives full sun. Water the soil frequently to maintain an even moisture level, and mulch to keep moisture in the soil and keep weeds out. In order to keep the fruits off the ground and encourage air circulation, provide support with trellises or stakes. Use a balanced fertiliser and apply it on a regular basis.
