With the extra benefit of bearing an abundance of huge, orange-red fruits that are ideal for creating delicious homemade jellies, the Malus Jelly King Crabapple Tree is a remarkable decorative tree. With an abundance of pale pink to white blossoms in the spring, this little tree enlivens your garden and draws pollinators and bees. Its eye-catching fruits, which offer both visual appeal and culinary possibilities, dangle like pearls against the vivid foliage in the autumn. The fruits provide the garden with enduring colour since they cling firmly to the tree.

Plant in a sunny to partially shaded spot with well-drained soil. The Malus Jelly King is hardy and easy to maintain, thriving in most garden conditions. Water regularly during dry spells, and apply mulch to conserve moisture. Minimal pruning is required—simply remove any dead or crossing branches in late winter or early spring.

Supplied as a strong bare root tree at a height of approx. 150cm.

The primary intended use of this plant is to grow food for human consumption.

There are thousands of different plant species that can be consumed, and our extensive range is no exception. We have conveniently listed a large number of edible plants here. Additionally, we have compiled several articles and handy recipes for some of the plants you are less likely to find in supermarkets.

We always recommend conducting your own research before consuming any plant to understand the various ways different varieties can be prepared and consumed. Be mindful of potential allergies when trying anything new and ensure it is suitable for all who may be consuming it.

Some plants or varieties can also be cultivated as animal feed for livestock, such as poultry, game, and livestock reared for consumption. Again, we advise doing your own research to select the most appropriate plants for your livestock.
