Corylus avellana contorta 'Red Majestic' - Red Standard Tree circa 140cms

Corylus avellana contorta 'Red Majestic' is the rare and unusual red leaved form of the contorted hazel, here we present it on a standard clear stem as a very special tree. Combining the unusual 'corkscrew' branches with stunning bright red leaves, it does best planted in a moist, well drained soil in sun or semi shade and it will grow up to 2. 5m making it suitable for small or large gardens. For floral art, it features unusual red nuts and red catkins!

This standard hazel is ideal for the middle of a sunny border or large container. 

Supplied with a clear stem with a head of twisting branches forming a very nice tree at around 140cms tall in approx. 5 litre containers.
