Cortaderia Copper Mistral - Pampas Grass

Known by most as Pampas Grass, Cortaderia 'Copper Mistral' is a striking ornamental grass noted for its lush, arching foliage and striking coppery-pink plumes. Its tall, feathery plumes, which bloom from late summer to autumn, give gardens a striking height and texture that makes it a standout feature in borders or as a statement plant. Its grassy, evergreen foliage adds interest all year long.

Plant in well-drained soil in full sun. Once the plant establishes roots during its first growing season, watering should be less frequent as it grows more drought-tolerant. To encourage new growth, trim the foliage in late winter or early spring. Combine with additional decorative grasses or evergreens such as rudbeckia or echinacea to create a visually striking and varied garden arrangement.
