Cornus sanguinea 'Anny's Winter Orange' - Dogwood
Availability: In stock
One of the most popular and beloved dogwood cultivars, ‘Anny’s Winter Orange’ boasts stunning colourful winter stems and seasonal foliage. Setting itself apart from other dogwoods, this cultivar displays a gradient of exciting colour, with a bright orange base that gradually develops into a deep red as the stems extend upwards. The wavy oval leaves appear mid-green in spring and remain until autumn when they turn beautiful shades of orange, red, and yellow, before falling. We recommend planting this shrub in a mixed border to give you much needed colour in the quiet months. Additionally this Cornus works amazingly when planted on mass either informally or when used to line a path or border giving you a brighter hit of colour.
This shrub looks best when placed in full sun or partial shade, allowing the light to hit the stems and foliage throughout autumn and winter. It is fully harder so can thrive in exposed or sheltered gardens and can grow any soil type or ph, tolerating moist, damp, or dry soil.
Supplied in approx. 3 litre containers.
