Featuring six different varieties that are ready to plant out in your plot or for container growing, there’s no better way to add some spice to your cooking, plus, if you don’t have much space, don’t worry, they also grow well on a windowsill or balcony.
This collection includes 1 plant of each of the following varieties:
Hot Banana – Great for grilling or frying, the chillies produced by this plant are relatively mild and have great colour, maturing from yellow to orange to a vibrant red. 5,000-10,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU - the measure of Chilli heat intensity!).
Chenzo – A truly unique plant, this variety of chilli pepper produces long, narrow fruit that ripens to red from a stunning black shade. Considered medium-hot, they have 45,000 SHU.
Hot Fajita – Ideal for pot growing, this plant is compact and produces dazzling bright red chillies that work great in fajitas, much like their name suggests. Considered medium-hot, this chilli packs a punch at 70,000 SHU.
Apache – Great for a sunny windowsill, the ‘Apache’ chilli pepper bears medium-sized chillies ranging in colour from yellow to red. 75,000 SHU.
Hot Lemon – With vibrant, shiny yellow fruits and a distinctive citrusy flavour, this variety of chilli is really special. Perfect for making salsa, they have a heat rating of 30,000 - 50,000 SHU.
Basket of Fire – Calling all lovers of spice, this variety is the one for you. Producing small, colourful chillies that mature from purple through to yellow, orange and red, they have a heat rating of 80,000 SHU. Plus, their bushy growing habit makes this plant perfect for filling out a hanging basket.
Each plant is supplied in its own 9cm container, well established and ready to plant out.
