Climbing Rose Fontaine Red

Product ref: BR26560

Availability: Out of stock

With its bright red, semi-double blooms, the Climbing Rose 'Fontaine Red' is a magnificent climber that infuses vivid energy into any garden. This rose is especially well-known for its fragrant, gentle blooms that linger for a long time. From early summer to late autumn, it flowers freely, creating a breathtaking spectacle against its rich green foliage.

'Fontaine Red' is a perfect plant to grow on fences, archways, or trellises. It needs well-drained soil and full sun to develop to its fullest. To encourage its rapid growth and copious flowering, it benefits from regular watering, especially in dry weather, and feeding with a fertiliser designed specifically for roses. When paired with white or pale pink climbing roses, it makes a striking and eye-catching dramatic garden feature.

Supplied as Strong Bare Root plants, ready to go straight out in the garden and bloom.

The primary intended use of this plant is to grow food for human consumption.

There are thousands of different plant species that can be consumed, and our extensive range is no exception. We have conveniently listed a large number of edible plants here. Additionally, we have compiled several articles and handy recipes for some of the plants you are less likely to find in supermarkets.

We always recommend conducting your own research before consuming any plant to understand the various ways different varieties can be prepared and consumed. Be mindful of potential allergies when trying anything new and ensure it is suitable for all who may be consuming it.

Some plants or varieties can also be cultivated as animal feed for livestock, such as poultry, game, and livestock reared for consumption. Again, we advise doing your own research to select the most appropriate plants for your livestock.
