Clerodendrum trichotomum Shiro
Availability: In stock
Known by most as the Harlequin Glorybower, Clerodendrum trichotomum 'Shiro' is a visually arresting deciduous shrub that lends an exotic flair to any garden. This plant provides numerous seasons of fascination with its fragrant white flowers that bloom freely in late summer and its vivid blue berries that are coated in eye-catching pink calyces in the fall.
Reaching a height of approximately 3–4 metres, 'Shiro' is ideal for enhancing borders with height and colour or serving as a stand-alone plant in larger garden areas. It may tolerate full sun or little shade, but it prefers a sheltered spot to preserve its fragile flowers and leaves. It grows best in well-drained soil.
Supplied in approx 2 litre containers.
