Chaenomeles x superba Red Trail - Flowering Ornamental Quince

Product ref: S22279

Availability: Out of stock

‘Red Trail’ is a beautiful and versatile variety of Chaenomeles with dark green leaves on prickly stems. The leaves fall for the winter and regrow in the spring, but before they return the plant will put out an abundance of bright red flowers with yellow centres. The blooms are followed by green-yellow fruits that are ready to pick by the autumn. This plant can be grown as a shrub on its own, as part of a mixed border or as a lovely flowering hedge.

Grow this in any position in well-drained soil. Make sure the soil isn’t kept too moist.

Supplied in approx. 2 litre containers.
