Cercis chinensis 'Shirobana' - White Chinese Redbud

Cercis chinensis Shirobana is a rare one form of cercis, which are more usual to find in pink shades, hence the common name of Chinese Redbud, it forms a small tree which is best positioned in a bright sunny position. Fully hardy, this white Cercis will do best in a rich, fertile and well draining soil and reach a mature height of around three metres after several years. 

 

As an added bonus, the attractive Heart-shaped foliages transitions to a lovely buttery yellow in Autumn.
