Cedrus libani 'Glauca'
Availability: In stock
Popularly called Blue Atlas Cedar, Cedrus libani 'Glauca' is a stately evergreen conifer that is highly valued for its exquisite blue-grey needles and elegant, spreading branches. This slow-growing tree makes a great focal point for expansive gardens and landscapes because it can eventually grow to impressive heights. Any outdoor space is made more elegant and interesting all year round by its striking colour and unique form.
Plant in full sun to partially shaded, well-drained soil. Although it can grow in many types of soil, Cedrus libani 'Glauca' likes a spot with good drainage. Water frequently in the early years to help the tree develop a robust root system; as the tree gets older, watering should become less frequent. Pruning should only be done to remove damaged or dead branches as overpruning can distort the natural shape.Â
Supplied in approx. 7 litre containers.Â
