Camellia japonica 'Curly Lady'

A regal medium sized evergreen shrub that makes for an important specimen plant in any garden, this variety gets its unusual name from its twisting branches that are cloaked in dark green glossy leaves.

It forms a dense upright habit that can take centre stage in any border. In spring semi-double reddish pink flowers are produced apically over the surface of the foliage making it one of the first highlights of the new growing season.

Camellias like a slightly acidic soil so if your garden is on chalk grow this beautiful plant in a container. It is happy in either sun or partial shade.
