Carex muskingumensis

This clump forming graceful Sedge is an herbaceous, semi-evergreen perennial that makes the ideal addition to a pond side planting scheme, or even sat in shallow pond margins.

This moisture loving plant has light green blade like foliage that forms in sprays. In summer stems of golden brown flowers appear that shimmer in the wind and sunlight.

This Carex is best planted in small drifts, blended in with other similar grass like aquatic plants.
