Calluna vulgaris 'Sir John Charrington' is an attractive and resilient heather variety known for its dense spikes of rich, deep pink to purple flowers that bloom from late summer until autumn. The thin, needle-like foliage is bright all year, ranging from bright yellow in the spring and summer to bronze in the winter. This compact, bushy shrub grows in a dense mat, making it great for ground cover, borders, or rock gardens.

'Sir John Charrington' thrives in acidic, well-drained soils and full sun, and requires only little trimming after flowering to retain its clean form. Combine with other heathers, dwarf conifers, or acid-loving shrubs such as rhododendrons to create a lush, textured environment.

Supplied in approx. 13cm pots.
