Calathea 'Compact Star'

The striking houseplant Calathea 'Compact Star' is distinguished by its dense foliage and compact growth pattern. This lovely variety has long, lance-shaped leaves that contrast vividly with a deep green background of light green stripes. The undersides of the leaves have a deep purple colour. A little tropical elegance can be introduced into any indoor space with the help of the 'Compact Star'.

Calatheas are a popular choice for homes and offices because of their admirable ability to flourish in lower light levels. To keep them healthy and vibrant, misting and frequent watering are advised. They prefer high humidity and evenly moist, well-drained soil.
