This stunning veggie will be a real jewel in your garden, with its deep purple leaves taking pride of place in your allotment. Not only is it beautiful, but red cabbage is also packed with nutrients (namely iron and vitamin K) making it a great choice for health-conscious gardeners. An incredibly versatile veggie, you can use shredded in a salad or make it into a fresh coleslaw to serve as a delicious side dish. This variety produces heads that average 6 inches in diameter and can be harvested from summer into autumn. All you need to do is plant in well-draining soil, in a sheltered area with access to lots of direct sunlight. Please note that this plant is presented as a mini twelve-pack. Sown in our nursery using the finest quality seeds, when this order arrives at your door you will have twelve individual young plants that will be ready to plant out in your vegetable garden.
