'Thomas Edison' is an outstanding and well-loved, decorative type Dahlia. It blooms in mid-summer and will produce flowers right through till Autumn. Flowers are large, held on sturdy stems and are a gorgeous shade of a rich plum-purple, with outer petals slowly maturing to a magenta pink. One of our favourites as it so easy to mix with other colours and varieties. Goes particularly well with other red, black and even white flowers.

They make sublime cut flowers and you will be able to fill a vase for weeks, this also encourages even more flowers to form. Grows to a max height of around 100cms.

This plant is supplied as a single tuber.
