Aquilegia Rose Queen

Known by many as Rose Queen Columbine, Aquilegia 'Rose Queen' adorns gardens with its lovely, delicate pink flowers that possess a subtle, alluring charm. This perennial adds a touch of elegance to any planting scheme with its long spurs and delicate blooms that occur from late spring to early summer. Reaching a maximum height of 75 cm, it works well as a delicate highlight in woodland settings or as a mid-border placement. 'Rose Queen' does best in well-drained, wet soil and can tolerate full sun, but it thrives in partial shade. It needs very little care other than the occasional deadheading to prolong flowering and little watering during extended dry spells.
