Almond Tree - Large Prunus dulcis 'Robijn'
Availability: Out of stock
This beautiful almond tree not only provides a rewarding crop of sought after nuts, but also makes a highly ornamental tree displaying showy, light pink blossoms each spring. Our trees are grafted on a semi-dwarfing 'St Julian' rootstock, meaning Almond 'Robijn' will form a medium sized, spreading tree with excellent disease resistance.
Nuts can be expected to form in as little as two or three years after planting, they can be harvested from late August. Fully hardy, and easy to grow, production is best in milder areas and when we have a warm dry summer.
Almonds are self fertile but pollination is improved when more than one almond tree is grown, they'll reach around 3.5 metres tall and wide if left unpruned.
