Agapanthus africanus albus 'Snowball'

This Agapanthus is another compact clump forming perennial that forms a rosette of strap like glossy leaves that will provide a backdrop for large, rounded umbels of white funnel shaped flowers in the summer.

Agapanthus is a resilient plant, tolerating most soils but does like a sheltered sunny spot away from cold winds. The plant is particularly fond of containers as the limited space mimics the rocky growing conditions it grows in naturally. Snowball is a robust white flowered form, that can also be combined with the more commonly found blue varieties to create a beautiful effect.
