Acer pseudoplatanus 'Brilliantissimum'

Product ref: S21693

Availability: Out of stock

Small deciduous Maple tree that reaches about four metres in height and slightly less in spread.

This plant is an absolute showstopper in spring, producing stunning salmon pink foliage as the leaves first emerge later turning to yellow before becoming green in the summer. Its beauty does not finish there though as it also produces superb autumn colour.

It is a very hardy soul tolerating both sun and partial shade conditions. It’s also happy in all soil types and aspects but will not like soils that don't drain well; if the soil is particularly prone to excess moisture, then dig in plenty of compost and grit.

Plant in a pride of place position either as a focal point or in a mixed border. This is a plant that that really announces the coming of the spring.

Stake in windy areas and always water trees well in their first season, mulch with organic matter in early spring and remove any damaged or dead wood.

Supplied in approx 5 litre containers.
