‘Red Feathers’ is a really gorgeous variety of Japanese Maple; the delicate looking red foliage has a weeping habit, creating a stunning feathery effect. This tree makes a great addition to any garden with its red colour breaking up the greenery of other plants, not to mention it is incredibly versatile and can grow under most conditions. In the spring, little purple-red flowers emerge which are followed by red winged fruits in the late summer, adding variety and interest to your garden.
Grow this tree in partial shade, avoiding full sun in the mornings as this can cause scorching. It will grow happily in moist, well-drained soil that is acidic to neutral.
