This stunning Japanese maple lives up to the name ‘Phoenix’ with its fiery foliage. The leaves emerge pink and gradually turn yellow then red, orange, and yellow in the autumn. This tree gives you beautiful colour for most of the year, but especially gorgeous autumn colour. This is a deciduous tree so the leaves will fall in the winter to ensure you get to see the colourful displays all over again.
Grow in moist, well-drained acidic soil of any type. It prefers growing in full to partial shade in a sheltered garden.
