Acer palmatum Peve Dave - Japanese Maple
Availability: Out of stock
Acer palmatum 'Pévé Dave' is a stunning purple Japanese Maple whose leaves turn a beautiful fiery red in the autumn. This is a showstopping plant that can work well in plenty of types of gardens. It is slow-growing and compact making it ideal if you want a colourful tree in a smaller garden. Small, red spring flowers give way to attractive winged seed pods in the autumn for some extra autumnal interest.
'Pévé Dave' will grow happily in any well-drained soil but avoid chalk. The soil should be kept moist, especially in the warmer months. This tree is not fussy about its position; it will grow in full sun or partial shade in exposed or sheltered position.
Supplied in approx. 3 litre containers
