Truly a magical addition to any garden, ‘Inaba-shidare’ is a beautiful arching maple tree with deep red-purple leaves that turn a striking crimson in the autumn. This is a compact plant making it perfect for smaller gardens or patios, but it equally looks excellent planted amongst other shrubs and trees in a larger garden or border. Purple flowers are produced in the spring followed by purple fruits in the autumn. This is a deciduous plant so the leaves will drop in the winter to make room for the beautiful new growth in the spring.
Keep this plant in a sunny, sheltered spot. It will also grow in partial shade. It is a versatile plant and will grow in any soil type as long as it is well-drained and kept moist.
Supplied in approx 3 litre pots.
