Acer palmatum Amagi Shigure - Rare Japanese Maple with Unique colouring

Acer palmatum 'Amagi Shigure' is a rare, unique and spectacular Japanese Maple variety, in early spring it produces bright pink leaves, with dark coloured veins running through them, as the spring progresses, these become more pronounced with the leaves becoming more red. In summer the leaves darken and become more purple while the prominent black veins remain. Slow-growing and upright in habit, this fantastic small tree then presents Autumnal colour of vivid orange, red and purple - again spectacular. Supplied in approx 1 litre containers.
