Torbay Dazzler is a very hardy form of variegated Cordyline. The stunning foliage of long, graceful strap like leaves are variegated green and creamy white, often with a salmon red vein at the base. A trunk will be formed over time which adds to the attractive palm like appearance of these versatile plants.
A hardy plant that prefers well drained soil, excessive winter wet should be avoided.
These Cordylines will make a fabulous focal point in patio planters used as a specimen or in exotic planting schemes. The soft colouration combined with the tactile foliage of gently arching leaves that can sway in the breeze makes for a relaxing combination in any mixed planting scheme, alternatively used on their own under planted with bedding plants to create more dramatic focal points.

These Cordylines can be drought resistant plants, so are ideal for the gardener who occasionally forgets to water too. We recommend growing them in large containers with good drainage or as feature plants in sheltered spots of the garden. The will make a fantastic focal point and add a touch of the exotic to your garden what ever the size. Despite the exotic appearance, these Cordylines are hardy to as low as around -6 °C.
